5 Businesses You Can Start with £0 in 2020
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! In this blog we will discuss something that most of my readers are probably highly interested in: How do you start a business with little to no money?
Money has always been a hindrance to many who need to start a business. Startup capital is always a turn-off, since getting it can be devastating, especially when there is no personal source of funding or funding from family and friends. There are other means out there, ranging from bank loans which demand a good credit history and sometimes collateral. To Angel investors who demand a detailed business plan, some financial commitment from you, and a bunch of other things you don’t have the luxury of giving.
If we had a way to avoid all these and still make some sustainable income, then nobody would be unemployed and in debt. Well, worry not, there is a way to ditch the writing and editing of countless dream-crushing business plans, of never seeing those unrealistic demands of financial institutions and of starting a business without funds from family or friends.
I will happily give you five businesses to start with $0 or slightly more. Without further ado;
£0 Business Ideas in 2020
1. Facebook Advertising
There is still an untapped gold mine in the world of social media. With the ever-increasing use of platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and so on, there is much to make. Of the largest sources of wealth on the social media platform, the business of Facebook advertising agency is one that has gained valuable attention.
Things you need: There is little to nothing to do when starting this. As long as you have a Facebook account, an internet working gadget and the time, you are good to go.
How to earn: A Facebook ad agency focuses on promoting business, small, medium or large. Many business owners have no time to make and run a social media advertising platform, but many will gladly pay a fee to have someone do it on their behalf. There are so many businesses out there that this market can’t get saturated.
Earnings: Although there is no stated pay range, considering that it all depends on your client’s financial state and your pay rate. But you get two options from Facebook. You get a 25% incentive for all income or $1,000 pay per month on each client rate, which would exclude the agreed charge of running the ad.
2. Airbnb
This is possibly the most cost-free business idea on the list. Many people today prefer the feel of a home, to that of a hotel, so the search for an available space to let on short term is fast becoming a hot business deal.
Things you need: A free space, shared or private, and internet access.
How to earn: If you have a space, then you have a business, Airbnb does it all for you. It has everything already set, and all you have to do is navigate through its user-friendly site. Sign up, place your space on its site and have an interested client contact you. As long as people travel, be sure that you will always be in business.
Earning: As a host, you can find out how much you can make through their calculating section. It will let you know how much you are likely to make. Putting into consideration factors like location, space, privacy, season and lots more.
3. Content Creation
Creating content is a fun and cost-free business way of making money, you can create content on practically anything. Creating content on YouTube is one that has become financially profitable.
Things you need: Intermediate Knowledge of anything at all, a working internet equipment, a recording device, and a YouTube channel.
How to earn: You would need to get a YouTube page by signing up on their easy to navigate site. Then post your recorded videos. You will need to monetize your account, which you can learn how to use from help pages or through various YouTube videos.
Earning: With an average payment method of £5 a day on each video on your page, you can get a good sum in the long run.
4. Freelance Work
Fast taking over the Internet is freelance work, another great business idea you can start for free in 2020. Website, blog, and business owners have less and less time to handle all jobs that come up and sometimes getting those big companies can be unnecessary and expensive in ratio to their needs. Private and individual freelancers are becoming the most wanted people.
Things you need: Internet equipment, skill-set in almost anything internet-based, and time.
How to earn: there are several sites littered around the web that offer clients and freelancers a secure meet. Reigning at the top are Fiverr and Upwork, but there are many still making waves for themselves like Guru, Freelancer, and more. All you need to do is sign up, set your skill-set, portfolio, and profile. Some sites have you place your services and pricing while others have you bid on projects.
Earning: There is no certain pay and some jobs can offer better or less. Everything depends on the client, workload, payment structure, and project term. However, a few statistics have given an estimated £20 per hour on average for freelance writing gigs and higher for graphic or web designing. You can always work on more sites and double your income flow.
5. Online Product Reselling
Buying and selling is the oldest business there is, with the never-ending need for things, it is almost impossible to have a shortage of business. Although the most costly on the list, it could also be the most profitable. Online product reselling is an amazing business idea you can start for free.
Things you need: a working internet gadget, goods, a product selling account.
How to earn: Many sites offer ways for you to sell products. You really don’t need so much for starters and you can always resell old or not very used items around the house for a fair price. You could also get thongs cheap at flea markets or various sales markets and resell at a profit. eBay, Amazon, and others offer very favorable options to sellers.
Earnings: Nothing on average, but you can make an average of £5 on each resold goods.
6. Enagic’s “Kangen Water” Referral Program
And now, the time has come for my personal favourite — Enagic’s referral-based Kangen Water program. A well-established supplier of water ionisers, based in Japan, Enagic comes highly recommended by medical practitioners, influencers and celebrities alike. All of this, coupled with their lucrative referral programs, turns Kangen Water into an exceptional business opportunity. This is another great business idea you can start in 2020.
If you’re unfamiliar with Kangen Water, or Enagic as a whole, don’t worry — I’ve got plenty of information about that on my blog. As always, links can be found in the resources below.
Things you need: A passion for Eco-friendliness, good networking skills and time.
How to earn: Enagic’s patented business model works entirely on recommendations. They’ve got fantastic compensation plans, and choosing to partake in the program carries a variety of benefits. Additionally, if you are interested in owning the product yourself, you can enjoy special discounts. If you’d like to learn more about Enagic, I’d like to use this opportunity and invite you to one of my workshops — links in the resource section below!
Please keep in mind that this one requires a small initial investment, as you’d need to purchase one Kangen Water machine before you can start recommending it to others. By doing this, however, you’ll also get to experience and enjoy all of its benefits first-hand.
What makes Kangen Water so popular?
With the help of the Internet, more and more people are starting to realise and appreciate the need for a healthier lifestyle. Hearing about it from your friends or relatives is one thing, but seeing the benefits of it is a whole different deal! Luckily, there is a plethora of information available online, and you don’t need to spend more than a couple of minutes to find your answers. Naturally, this has prompted even more research into the subject, thanks to which we are now aware of just how important maintaining the right pH balance really is. And I’d like to note here that this isn’t really a new thing — scientists have known about it for quite a while. This is also why Enagic — the company behind Kangen Water, has worked on its products for over forty-six years. But only after the subject gained traction online, did the larger masses really notice it. Here’s how it works:
If we want our bodies to function well, or simply put — if we want to be healthy and happy, we need to maintain a certain pH balance. This means not only watching what we eat and drink but also how and when we do it. Of course, this isn’t something that you can control at all times. Unexpected events happen, and when they do, our pH levels get messed up. Additionally, a lot of the foods and beverages (soft drinks being the main culprit here) that most people consume are capable of messing up the balance on their own, introducing a myriad of spikes and drops in acidity levels.
To counteract this, most people turn to antioxidants — fresh fruits and veggies, minerals and vitamin supplements are the usual go-to here. But let’s say that you’re already eating your fair share of fruits and veggies, and you’d like to do even better? Well, this is where Kangen Water comes in!
Kangen Water is
- A potent antioxidant — which aids your body in counteracting cell oxidation, improving your overall health and wellbeing as a result.
- Alkaline in nature — the leading quality which allows it to counteract the excessive acidity of your average modern lifestyle.
- Micro-clustered — the molecules of Kangen Water are smaller (or actually — less clustered), allowing your body to absorb it faster and enjoy better overall hydration levels.
Enagic’s devices provide you with a steady supply of alkaline ionised water, capable of counteracting all of the issues I mentioned above, all the while allowing you to lead a greener, healthier and more natural lifestyle!
Conclusion
At the end of it all, none of these are a get rich quick scheme and you need to take the time, patience and dedication needed to grow your income. Just like every business needs some level of financial input, these businesses will have a regular need for financial consumption.
The good thing about all six free business ideas for 2020 is that they can always provide funds for their needs with no external input. That is by far the most attractive feature.
Whatever business you run, if you work hard and commit to it, in the long run, it will bare favorable fruits.
