If you use Facebook, Instagram, or Whatsapp, then you probably know its owner. These apps are some of the leading apps in the world of social media. If you want to view some of the best photo shots in the world, visit Instagram. If you want to connect with people all over the world from the comfort of your home, visit Facebook. Then, if you want an app that allows only your private contacts to communicate with you on the go, Whatsapp is the app for you. No matter how it turns out, you just might need one or all of these apps if you want to enjoy what the world of social media has to offer, all thanks to one man.

Mark Zuckerberg is that one man. At thirty-six years old, Mark Zuckerberg runs Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp, amongst others. Facebook alone has a market cap of about eight hundred and fifty-five billion dollars. That is no small company. Combine it with the other two, and you will agree that Mark certainly has a lot on his plate. In this blog, we will be looking at how this young billionaire manages his daily routine.

Mark Zuckerberg’s Daily Routine

If you look at Mark’s life, you might conclude one of two things; either he has a zero work-life balance or a genius at maintaining both. Every day, he wakes up at 8:00 a.m. But contrary to what you might think, he takes some time to look at his phone. He checks Facebook and Facebook messenger looking to find any new happenings in the world. He does so and checks his emails for relevant information. Any day might just be the day he works out, but he does so three times a week. His best exercise might just be running with his dog early in the morning. After a run, he eats breakfast (whatever he sees is fine by him as he is not so picky with food). One of the reasons he is not picky with things is he believes he should not waste so much time on small decisions. His work uniform comprises a pair of jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers. In his words, he wants to serve his community instead of wasting time on irrelevant things. He believes the amount of time spent on picking clothes and meals can be used to better the community and even make less mess in the bedroom and kitchen.

His home has a custom-made Artificial Intelligence Assistant that helps to run his home. He puts about sixty hours a week into work at Facebook, thinking and working on ways to improve the company. He is so engrossed in the work that he hired a team of twelve specialists to manage his social media accounts and post his updates. Whenever he has some spare time, he spends it learning mandarin and reading books. In fact, he has challenged himself to read a new book every two weeks. That may just be another similarity between billionaires -reading. He is also a keen traveler. While traveling, he meets a lot of personalities. He has met Pope Francis, Barack Obama, and other prominent personalities. His frequent travels have sparked speculations that he may be running for an electoral position sometime in the future.

He has even traded midnight hack routines for midnight bed duties and routines with his children. One of the books he reads to his children at night contains one of his best quotes, “May the source of strength that has blessed the ones before we help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing.”

To Mark Zuckerberg, enough sleep is very important. But that does not mean he sleeps too early. Not many people can boast of the kind of impact Mark has on the social media space, and fewer can say they started the journey from the four walls of a dormitory room. Yes, Mark and four of his buddies launched Facebook on February 4, 2004, in their dormitory room in Harvard. Fast forward fifteen years later, and Facebook is now worth billions. Despite fallouts, scandals, and setbacks, Mark Zuckerberg is still the CEO of Facebook, and with over a hundred billion dollars in net worth, he is one of the richest men in the world.

He is a family man who believes family is everything. He does not think that business comes first. He also believes in whatever is best for him. That explains how he can balance his work life and family life. Being a billionaire does not distract him from being there for his family. He believes the best way to be happy is to start every day of your life with the most important things in your life. If there is anything he has taught us, it is that work life and family life can be balanced perfectly.
